Aplas Groups is honored to be recognized as a Platinum-Level Loyal Taxpayer during Ethiopia’s 7th Annual Loyal Taxpayers Recognition Ceremony, an initiative established in 2018 (Gregorian calendar) by Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed to promote a culture of appreciation for responsible taxpayers who fulfill their civic duty on time.
This year’s ceremony celebrated 700 loyal taxpayers for their contribution during the 2017 Ethiopian Fiscal Year (EFY)—including 105 Platinum, 245 Gold, and 350 Silver honorees. Together, their efforts contributed to a total tax collection of 900.22 billion Birr.
Aplas Groups proudly ranked 7th among privately owned companies and 49th overall, alongside leading banks and state enterprises such as those in the telecommunications sector.
This recognition reflects our ongoing dedication to transparency, ethical governance, and sustainable growth, as well as our contribution to Ethiopia’s economic development.
